Chia Seed Chocolate Pudding

If you have not caught on to the chia seed craze you are behind the times. Seeing how this is my first post on it may indicate that I am behind too!  My brother in law does ultra marathons and his competitors swear by them. They are said to be the ‘ultimate energy source’. If you want to read more on them, click here. Honestly, I just like this for the chocolate energy aspect. :)

Chocolate Chia Seed Pudding

  1. Chia seeds
  2. Almond Milk
  3. Hershey's Cocoa Powder
  4. Honey
In a blender mix
  1. 1 1/2 C. Almond Milk
  2. 2 1/2 Tbs. Hershey's Cocoa Powder
  3. 2 Tbs. Honey
  4. 1/3 C. Chia Seeds
  1. Mix them all together in a food processor or blender and place in fridge for 1 hour. 20 minutes into the refrigeration process, stop and mix up the ingredients again. For a more creamy texture mix in food processor longer or until creamy.
  2. Note: One distractor for my kids was the honey like texture the seeds add to the pudding. I personally did not mind it.
