Bowtie Spinach Salad

This is my ‘go-to’ recipe for baby showers or big events. This salad is flavorful, crunchy, and makes a good presentation. Hope you like it as much as we do!

MIX IN LARGE BOWL
8 CUPS SPINACH TORN
8 oz. BAG OR BOX BOWTIE PASTA COOKED & COOLED
1 BUNCH GREEN ONIONS CHOPPED
1/4 CUP PARSLEY CHOPPED (I use fresh, but dried is okay)
1/4 CUP SALTED SUNFLOWER SEEDS
1/4 CUP RED PEPPERS CHOPPED
1/4 CUP YELLOW PEPPERS CHOPPED
 
MARINATE CHICKEN & DRESSING THE DAY BEFORE SERVING (I don’t always remember to marinate the chicken and it turns out just fine).
 
BOIL & SHRED 4 CHICKEN BREASTS & MARINATE IN LARGE STORAGE BAG WITH DRESSING
 
DRESSING
1/2 C. OLIVE OIL
2/3 C. SOY SAUCE
2/3 C. VINEGAR
6 TBL. SUGAR
1/2 TSP. PEPPER
1/4 C. SESAME SEEDS
 
POUR CHICKEN MIXTURE OVER ALL INGREDIENTS WHEN READY TO SERVE!!
