I’m Stacie. I am a wife, a mother of two, a Speech Pathologist, a haphazard crafter, a road biker and an avid runner.

I started running when I was twelve and I haven’t stopped since! After high school, I ran for Utah State University on the Cross Country and Track and Field teams. Running has improved my discipline, work ethic, and most especially taught me the power of the mind. These skills took me to the NCAA National Championships and my team to win the Western Athletic Conference.

While at Utah State, I met my handsome husband Mitch. Mitch despises running, but he loves that I have a hobby I enjoy. His favorite saying is, “I paid for a marathon for Stacie. That’s more than I thought I would ever do!” Last summer, I talked him into running the Wasatch Back Ragnar Relay. He was a great sport, but vowed to never do it again.

While my main event in college was the 3000 Steeplechase, my main event these days is mothering. My 3 year old and 1 year old, can wear me out much quicker than any workout! I try to squeeze in at least one marathon between each of my pregnancies. However, after that marathon, I try to switch things up by competing in different types of races. Some of my favorite races include the LOTOJA bike race, the occasional triathlon, and my personal favorite, 4th of July 5k’s! Seriously, what is better than a race that comes with free pancakes!?!
